About Me
I'm Casey, a New Orleans native, youngest of three and a May 2016 graduate of Louisiana State University with an undergraduate degree in public relations in the Manship School of Mass Communication with a minor in business administration in the E.J. Ourso College of Business. I have complementary courses in social media strategy, research, and visual communication. During my time at LSU, I was an active member of PRSSA and the Manship School's student-run public relations firm ImPRint Communications. I am a certified Distinguished Communicator, Google Adwords certified, Hootsuite certified, Twitter Flight School certified, HubSpot Content Marketing certified.
I have experience in public relations, event planning, social media content creation, digital branding, graphic design, research and writing. My professional background ranges from government, nonprofit and agency sectors.
After my graduation in May, I accepted a full-time position as a social media/assistant account manager at SASSO in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I previously interned during my last years in college. I focused on social media management, digital content creation, digital advertising/branding, website maintenance management, public relations, business development/proposal writing and account management.

Currently, I am a community manager at FSC Interactive in my hometown of New Orleans. My responsibilities include: monitor all social media platforms on behalf of the client/brand, write and communicate professionally on behalf of the client/brand, including daily engagement and replying to posts, tweets, and digital content, work closely with account and strategy teams to help develop creative, results-driven campaign, provide support in terms of content creation, client service, reporting, editorial meetings, and live event coverage. My past and present clients include: Visit New Orleans, GoNOLA504, Pralines & Cream Liqueur, Peychaud’s Aperitivo, Sazerac Rye Whiskey, Mardi Gras World, Bayou Classic, Loyola University, Le Meridien Hotel.
Whenever I am not managing social media accounts, responding to comments, or placing Facebook ads you can probably find me near the pups, binge watching Netflix/HBO or trying to find the next best churros.
